La chambre était hyper cosy, juste en face de la piscine, super propre, qui sent bon, avec tout le confort qu’il faut. On s’y sent tout de suite bien, vraiment. Le personnel est adorable, ultra attentionné, toujours dispo sans jamais être envahissant. Et un vrai plus : à l’arrivée, ils prennent le temps (vraiment !) de s’asseoir avec toi pendant 20 minutes, carte de l’île à la main, pour t’expliquer quoi faire, où manger, où aller te poser… le tout en te servant un délicieux thé glacé. Ce genre de petites attentions qui change tout. La colonne de douche est peut-être un peu fatiguée, ok… mais franchement, c’est du détail (et l’eau est à peine salée, ce qui change tout quand on vient de passer la journée dans la mer). Et le petit déj ? Une tuerie ! Je n’ai jamais vu de déjeuner comme ça. Jus de fruits frais, café/thé, pancakes, œufs, et un bol incroyable avec yaourt, fruits frais, graines… du bonheur dès le matin, c’est presque trop 🤣 Tout est super bien entretenu, tout est fait avec goût. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés. Un vrai coup de cœur.

Water kun je altijd aan de bar vragen en ook het ontbijt is prima. Yoghurtbowl, pannenkoek (aanrader!) en toast met ei waren favoriet. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en bedenk je wel dat ze lange dagen maken en dus soms even gaan zitten (nee dan zijn ze niet ongeïnteresseerd). We zouden 4 nachten blijven maar hebben uiteindelijk verlengd met 2 nachten. Zo fijn hadden we het daar. Je bent ook zo op het strand en met de fiets zo in de leuke drukke straatjes mét restaurantjes! Jay neemt je door middel van een kaart helemaal mee in alle leuke hotspots van Gili Air. Echt heel leuk, hebben wij veel aan gehad.

However, the light in the bathroom did attract mosquitoes at night, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to bites. A sliding door separates the bathroom from the bedroom for privacy. One minor drawback was the hard flooring, which was tough on my feet—I ended up purchasing flip-flops to move around more comfortably. Although our stay was brief, Es La Bonita left a lasting impression. It's tucked away on the North side of the island from the busier parts, offering peace and quiet. Conveniently, a horse taxi stops at the end of the road, and the attentive staff takes care of all luggage, making the logistics seamless.
